Angus 3

Angus 3 is a another reworking of my previous piece Angus using a different colour palette. This version uses red, green and blue stamps. When I was making it, it felt similar to standing too close to an old cathode ray television set, with the small coloured dots. From close to, the piece has a psychedelic feel. However, when viewed from a distance, the colours merge and it appears to be a more subtle brown colour. This has the interesting effect that from a distance it seems quite similar to my first Angus portrait, but from close it looks very different.
