Blue Nude 3

Series of ten*

Blue Nude 3 is my first work to use Wilding stamps, which date from the 1950s and 1960s. Stamp collectors call these stamps “Wildings” because they use a photo taken by a photographer called Dorothy Wilding. I love the design and character of these stamps, which give the piece a period look. Originally made in 2020, Blue Nude 3 is now available in a series of ten.

*Due to printing variation, postmarks and wear, each stamp is unique. These variations are used to “paint” the overall image. Consequently works is a series, whilst depicting the same overall image, are completely unique hand made pieces.
