The Abraham Lincoln 1x Series are the smallest stamp works that I have made to date. They are A3 sized and consist of 170 stamps. They are based on the Salvador Dali work “Gala contemplating the Mediterranean Sea”. I find it remarkable that the human brain can recognise this image as Lincoln, despite being very low resolution. I have made Abraham Lincoln in a number of colour palettes, Abraham Lincoln 1.2 uses a grey palette.
